Santos mobilizes rig to Ande-Ande Lumut

ASX-listed Santos Ltd is mobilizing Raniworo rig to Ande Ande Lumut (AAL) oil field in West Natuna PSC, in the Natuna Sea following the completion of drilling Merem and Melewis fields in Madura Offshore block in East Java.
The Plan of Development-1 (PoD-1) of Ande-Ande Lumut has been approved by the government by Santos wants to drill another well to increase reserve, a source said.
Santos has a 67.5 percent interest and is the operator of Madura Offshore PSC. It encountered dry hole during drilling of the Merem-1 well but a gas column in Melewis-1 well. Santos has 50 percent of West Natuna PSC and serves as operator, while the balance is held by ASX-listed AWE Ltd.
