Santos mulls bid for Premier takeover: Reports

Australia's Santos is rumoured to be among a group of suitors mulling takeover bids for UK-based Premier Oil, according to EnergyCurrent citing media reports.
Premier owns exploration and production assets in Indonesia, Pakistan , Vietnam, India and the Philippines.
Royal Dutch Shell and Eni were also said to be considering an offer for the UK explorer. A year ago Premier was in talks with an undisclosed suitor, believed to be Dubai Energy.(*)
