Santos opens EPCI tender for AAL wellhead platform

Santos Northwest Natuna BV, a subsidiary of ASX-listed Santos Ltd, the operator of the North West Natuna PSC in the Natuna Sea, unveiled Thursday pre-qualification tender for engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of wellhead platform for the Ande Ande Lumut (AAL) oil field development project in the PSC.
The company said in a tender announcement that all prospective candidates shall follow the pre-qualification process and fulfill all requirements contained in the pre-qualification document. Registration and pre-qualification document collection can be performed on November 24-26 at the address below:

The company added that pre-qualification document shall be submitted to the procurement committee on December 26.
Santos owns 50 percent interest in the North West Natuna PSC, with the balance held by ASX-listed AWE Ltd.
In October, Santos unveiled tender for the lease of an FPSO vessel for the AAL project, the completion of which is prerequisite to achieving the final investment decision (FID) for the AAL development. AWE has said that the FID is expected in the middle of next year, with first oil production projected in late 2017.
