Santos, partner to start S. Sumatra CBM drilling campaign

Australian oil, gas company Santos Limited and its Indonesian partner Sugico will start drilling campaign at their South Sumatra CBM blocks in December this year.
Santos revealed in a presentation that the partnership will drill up to 12 wells at Ogan Komering I and Ogan Komering II CBM PSCs with completion seen in 2012.
According to Santos, the partnership had identified up to 60 meters coal thickness in the west of the licenses.
Santos farmed-in the blocks in early August this year with Santos having 60 percent equity and operatorship.
The PSCs are located close to the pipeline connected to undersupplied West Java gas market. (alex)
