Santos, partners to conduct further 2D seismic in E. Java exploration block

Australian oil and gas firm Cue Energy Limited said on Thursday that the company and its joint venture partners in Sampang offshore production-sharing contract (PSC) had approved the acquisition of a further 20 kilometers of seismic to delineate the potential of two further structures within the PSC permit.

The company said the acquisition would be carried out to the end of this year.

Australian oil and gas firm Santos Limited, the PSC operators made major oil and gas discovery in Oyong field within the PSC last year,

Santos Limited holds 45 percent working interest in Sampang PSC, while Coastal Indonesia Sampang and Cue holds 40 percent and 15 percent, respectively. (alex).
