Santos?s Indonesian drilling update

| Status at 0600hrs -- 11/12/03 (Jakarta Time) | Changing out bottom hole assembly to drill ahead sidetrack. The current depth is 1436m, with 56m progress from the kick-off depth. As previously reported, the drillstring became stuck while drilling at 1515m. The string was subsequently backed off at 1419m and the original wellbore plugged back to 1380m. |
