Santos says Anggur-3 well in E. Java PSC reaches 1,115 meters

Australian oil and gas firm Santos Limited said on Thursday that wildcat drilling in Anggur-3 well in Sampang PSC offshore East Java had reached 1,115 meters with 633 meters progress for the week.

?Shallow seismic anomalies, which tested water on wireline logging, have been successfully cased off. The well is yet to reach the primary objective,? said Santos in a report to Australian Stock Exchange.

Santos said the planned total depth for Anggur-3 was 2,807 meters

Santos, the operator of the block, holds 45 percent working interest, while Coastal Indonesia Sampang and Cue Energy Limited hold 40 percent and 15 percent, respectively. (alex)
