Santos scouts for Indonesian-flagged FSO

Indonesian unit of Australian oil, gas firm Santos Limited is looking for Indonesian-flagged floating storage offloading (FSO) to support its oil operations in Sampang PSC offshore East Java.

The company said in a ?Request for Expression of Interest? announcement Monday that the FSO is expected to be delivered and ready for operations on the second quarter of 2011.

The FSO would have storage capacity for the offloading approximately 375,000 barrels with 20,000 BOPH pumping capacity, suitable connecting to 12? export hose and provided with 6? receiver system. The FSO must be suitable for tandem offtake with 115,000-DWT tanker, the company said. (alex)
