ASX-listed firm Santos Ltd. expects its Ande-Ande Lumut (AAL) oil field project in the North West Natuna block in the Natuna Sea to come onstream at the end of 2018, producing over 25,000 barrels of oil per day, according to a top official of the firm.
?We try as much as possible by the end of 2018 in order to achieve a production target of 25,000 bopd from the AAL field, with the support of SKK Migas (upstream authority) and Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources,? said recently-appointed President & General Manager of Santos Ignatius Tenny Wibowo, who last March resigned as president director of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), an upstream subsidiary of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero).
Santos owns 50 percent interest in the North West Natuna PSC, with the balance held by ASX-listed AWE Ltd.
