Santos to spud two wells in Madura Offshore block

ASX-listed Santos Ltd is scheduled to spud one well, Merem 1, in Madura Offshore block, East Java on March 12, which will be followed by the spudding of another well, Meliwis-1.

This was said by Ngatijan, Deputy of Survey and Drilling Division at SKK Migas.

Santos has a 67.5 percent interest and is the operator of Madura Offshore PSC. Other partners are PC Madura Ltd and PT Petrogas Pantai Madura.

As reported earlier in this portal, Santos Indonesia has allocated between US$15 and $20 million in capital expenditures for exploration activities in Indonesia this year.
