Santos to undertake 3D seismic on Sampang PSC

A large 3D seismic over Sampang PSC block offshore East Java is planned to begin in late 2004, Cue Energy Resources, the block?s co-venturer said Monday.
Cue said in a statement to the Australian Stock exchange that the survey was designed to follow up on the recent Jeruk discovery and to investigate several other prospects, which were candidate for 2005 exploration drilling.

Cue has 15 percent interest in Sampang, with Singapore Petroleum Company holding the remaining 40 percent. (alex)
