Sara Minerco seeks reliable coal suppliers

Singapore-based firm Sara Minerco Pte. Ltd, which is just setting-up its new office in Jakarta is looking for a coal and joint venture deal with Indonesian coal miners, the company?s chief representative told Petromindo.Com.

The company is seeking around 100,000 tonnes per month of coal supply with calorific value of 5,500 kcal/kg (ADB) or higher. It has started first shipment with volume of 45,000 tonnes of high CV coal last month from a South Kalimantan mine, the company?s chief representative, Jeffrey Sim said.

The company is also looking for JV deal with Indonesian coal miners, with minimum requirement of at least having a mine coverage area of 2,000 hectares and reserve of 10 million tonnes with calorific value of 4,200 kcal/kg (GAR)
