Sarana GSS to soon start exploration activities in Trembul Area

PT Sarana GSS plans to soon start exploration activities at aging oil fields in Trembul Area, located in Ngawen District, Blora Regency, Central Java Province.
This was said by Bambang Mulyadi, President Director of Sarana GSS, a partner of PT Pertamina EP in developing aging fields in Trembul Area, where the aging fields are estimated to have about 40.1 million barrels of oil reserves.
?The exploration programs will start in the middle of 2017 covering four villages including Trembulrejo, Talokwohmojo, Karangtengah and Kedungsatrian,? Bambang said on Tuesday.
The company has recently conducted public campaign for a three-year exploration program attended by local villagers and local administration officials in Blora.
Bambang said that the exploration programs in 2017 in Trembul Area include to repeat the processing of data from a 200-km 2D seismic covering, passive seismic acquisition, GGR study, and drilling of two wells.
In 2018, the company plans 60-km 2D seismic acquisition, GGR study, and drilling of one well.
In 2019 programs include drilling of two wells and workover of two wells.
