SAS begins construction of Jambi coal road

Coal miner PT Sinar Anugerah Sukses (SAS) started on Friday construction of a 108 km coal hauling road in Jambi with a ground-breaking ceremony led by Jambi Governor Hasan Basri Agus, local reports said.
The coal road will link a number of regencies including Sorolangun, Batanghari, and Muaro Jambi with the Jambi city.
The special coal road is targeted to be completed in early 2016, Hasan was quoted as saying. SAS operates a coal concession with current production of 8 million tons per year.(*)
