SCG Chemicals supports Chandra Asri?s efficiency program

SCG Chemicals, led by its subsidiary Texplore Co., Ltd., supplies more emisspro? to Indonesia's largest integrated petrochemical company PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (CAP), to boost energy efficiency of CAP's plant as part of its contribution to Green Manufacturing industry, CAP said in a statement.

emisspro?, an innovative solution for energy efficiency, is one of SCG Chemicals' commercialized innovations from owned R&D. The product is a high emissivity coating for industrial furnaces designed to achieve energy efficiency, it has been proven in various industries including petrochemical and refinery, steel and metal production, and ceramic and glass production.

Niwat Athiwattananont, Managing Director of Texplore Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of SCG Chemicals, said "SCG Chemicals is the first company in ASEAN that pioneered this innovation to commercialization. emisspro? serves the need of companies that concern for the environment and we are glad that CAP, our strategic partner, is one of those companies that shares the same mission of Green Manufacturing and has applied emisspro? to boost energy efficiency of its plant.
