Schneider makes first delivery of power transformer from Cibitung plant

Schneider Electric made on Thursday its first delivery of power transformer (60 MVA-150/20kV) from its Cibitung plant, in West Java, for a relay station owned by state-owned electricity firm PT PLN in Manyar, East Java.
Schneider Electric Indonesia Country President Riyanto Mashan said this marks the company?s intention to support the government?s five-year program to develop a total of 35,000 MW power plant projects until 2019.
He said that the 35GW power plant projects will need some 2,600 sets of transformers and 1,382 units of relay station.
Schneider Cibitung plant Director Surya Fitri said that the company as part of an agreement with PLN will deliver a total of 33 transformers to various relations owned by the latter firm in the country from 2016 until first quarter of 2017.
