(August 29, 2006) - We refer to our news release date 11th August 2006 entitled ?Scomi secured BP and OGDCL contracts overseas?

We wish to highlight that BP did not award the contract to Scomi Group Bhd (Scomi) but the lowest bidder on the contract tender process was PT Inti Jatam Pura, the representative of KMC oiltools, a subsidiary of Scomi.

The contract is for the provision of drilling waste management equipment and services and the estimated value is as stated in the press release.

We regret the error in our release.
