SEAR to make first coking coal shipment from E. Kalimantan project

ASX-listed South East Asia Resources (SEAR) said that coal production for the first shipment has now been completed at the PT Pola Andhika Realtor (PAR) coking coal project in East Kalimantan.

?Some delays have been experienced during the period in the shipping allocation as this coal forms part of a larger blended shipment from other East Kalimantan producers,? the company said in a third quarter report released Friday.

Finalization of documents for the domestic off-take arrangements have been undertaken with the coking coal for steel mills to be barged from the port of Telen, which is 32 kilometers form the PAR Mine Coal.

Transportation by truck has commenced with product coal stockpiles now being prepared at Telen for conveyor barge loading. ?With the change in legislative requirements for export sales from 1 October for a CnC (Clean and Clear Certificate) these requirements are being progressed for future sales,? the company said.
