Sebukit Group to build peat-fired power plant in West Kalimantan

Local firm Sebukit Group claimed it would build aUS$360 million 3x67 MW peat-fired power plant in West Kalimantan next year, Bisnis Indonesia reported.
Sebukit power CEO Endi Kurnia said construction of the first unit would commence February 2007 with 22 months of construction time.
It was not clear whether the company has signed power supply deal with state electricity firm PLN. (*)
