Sebuku to increase 2013 coal output

East Kalimantan miner PT Bahari Cakrawala Sebuku, a coal unit of Singapore-listed firm Sakari Resources Limited, is targeting to produce 3-3.5 million tons of coal next year, up from this year?s target of 2.5 million tons, an industrial source told Petromindo.com.

"Production is well on track to reach our targets for 2012 and provides the foundation for further production growth next year."

As of September 2012, the company has produced around 1.9 million tons of coal.

The company is expecting to reach an installed capacity in 2014 of 4-4.5 million tons per annum.
