Australian oil company Matrix Oil NL said on Tuesday that it had already shipped the second oil offtake from Langsa technical assistance contract (TAC) offshore North Sumatra in January 29, 2002.
?The lifting of oil from the "MV8 Langsa Venture" proceeded smoothly, with 181,333 barrels of oil being offtaken. The oil was sold for delivery to South Korea, at a price of approximately US$19.00 per barrel,? said company managing director Brian Hockney in a report to Australian Stock Exchange.
The first offtake took place on December 22, 2001.
The funds from the sale of the first off take were received on time, with the funds being forwarded directly from the buyer to the Matrix Oil NL trust account in Singapore, said Hockney.
Matrix has 90 percent of working interest in Langsa TAC. (alex )
