Sele Raya starts oil production from Merangin II

Local oil, gas firm PT Sele Raya has started oil production from its Merangin II block onshore South Sumatra last week, a top official from upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS said.
Chairman R. Priyono said that the block is currently producing at the rate of 500 BOPD.
Priyono said in April 2010 that the block?s production would ramp up to 2000 BPD by year-end. (Bernard)
