Sele Raya to spud Bestari A-1 well in March

PT Sele Raya Energi, the operator of Blora block, plans to begin the drilling of exploration well, Bestari A-1 in Pati, Central Java in March 2012. At present, the company is conducting public hearing with local communities.
?We are seeking support for the (drilling) activities,? said Hadi Prasetyo, upstream authority BPMIGAS head for East Java, Papua and Maluku Region.
BPMIGAS and PT Sele Raya are committed to engage local people and local potentials in the development of the project.
Manager for Exploration of Sele Raya, Imron Rustamadji, said that the company has yet to get permit from Central Java governor as the governor is still waiting for recommendation from Pati Regency head.
Sele Raya was awarded by the government to conduct exploration in the block in 2009.
