Sembawang to repair Tangguh LNG carriers

Singapore Exchange-listed firm Sembcorp Marine Ltd said on Monday that its unit Sembawang Shipyard had secured contract to repair LNG vessels from Japan?s K Line Shipmanagement.
Under the deal Sembawang Shipyard will repair 3 LNG carriers, Tangguh Jaya, Tangguh Foja and Tangguh Palung.
Tangguh Jaya, the first in a series of three vessels, is expected in the shipyard in December 2010, the company reported without giving further detail. (alex)
