Sembcorp looks for coal mines in Indonesia

Singapore-listed firm Sembcorp is seeking to expand into Indonesian mining business, looking for a coal mine to be acquired.
?We focus on Kalimantan and South Sumatra,? Sembcorp?s Vice President of Business Development Samir Pandya told Petromindo.com on Wednesday.
The firm is looking for coal mines with a production capacity of at least 5 million tons per year. They may be a greenfield project or producing mines.
?There are several mines that we are looking at. But, we are still searching,? he said. (Denny)
