Semen Baturaja, PTBA sign coal sale agreement

State-owned cement producer PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) and IDX-listed coal mining PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) have recently signed a coal sale and purchase agreement.
Under the agreement signed on June 20, PTBA would supply 1.6 million tons coal to Semen Baturaja for three years.
?The sale and purchase agreement would be effective until June 2020,? Dede Parasade, Managing Director of Semen Baturaja told Petromindo.com.
He said that Semen Baturaja required about 500,000 tons of coal this year with calorific value of 6,300 kcal/kg (Adb) and 5,500 kcal/kg (adb).
