Semen Baturaja to get power supply from local firm

IDX-listed PT Semen Baturaja Tbk is expected to obtain electricity supply of about 75 MW from Perusda Pertambangan dan Energi (PDPDE), a company owned by the South Sumatra provincial administration, when its second cement plant starts operation in 2018, Bisnis Indonesia reported Wednesday.
The paper said that the two firms on Tuesday signed an MoU on the future power supply.
Semen Baturaja is currently developing a second cement plant in South Sumatra with annual production capacity of 3.8 million tons per annum, said President Director Pamudji Rahardjo. (*)
