Semen Indonesia will need 5 million tons of coal this year

IDX-listed PT Semen Indonesia Tbk recently stated it will need up to 5 million tons of coal of 4.500-5.700 kcal/kg cv this year to fuel its processing plant and power plant in South Sulawesi.
?Up to 4 million tons will be for the plant and another million for power plant,? company president director Dwi Soetjipto said to Petromindo.com in Jakarta.
Dwi also said that the company has signed long term contracts with Adaro to guarantee supply.
The company targeted to produce up to 27.7 million tons of cement this year, with 44 percent of the output dedicated for the domestic market.
