Sengkang power plant expansion project on track

Australian energy firm Energy World Corporation Limited announced that construction work on its Sengkang Power Plant 120MW Expansion project is progressing and slated for completion by early 2013.
The new Siemens Gas Turbine (having 65MW gross capacity, 60MW net capacity at site) together with generator, gearbox, transformer and related equipment has now cleared Customs and is currently being transported to site in Sengkang and is expected to arrive shortly. It is on schedule to be commissioned and operational before the end of 2012.
Also, the new Alstom Steam Turbine and Heat recovery package (with a 65MW gross capacity, 60MW net capacity at site) have been manufactured and are being transported to site and are expected to be commissioned and operational by early 2013.
