JOB Pertamina–Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi, the operator of the Senoro-Toili Block in Central Sulawesi, targets the Senoro Selatan field to come on stream in the first quarter of 2026, with partial production expected in December 2025.

“Full on-stream is expected to shift to early next year, but partial production will begin in December,” said Taufan Marhaendrajana, Deputy for Exploitation at upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas, during a media briefing on Thursday (Oct 9).

Taufan explained that the Senoro Selatan on-stream schedule experienced a slight delay due to permitting issues.

“Senoro Selatan was actually planned to be on stream by the end of October, but there were some permit-related constraints at that time, which have now been resolved,” Taufan said.

The project will not increase the existing production capacity but will improve recovery and extend the production plateau of the Senoro Utara facilities, which currently have a capacity of 110 MMSCFD.

As previously reported, the operator commenced EPC work in mid-2024 after signing an EPC contract with a consortium of PT Timas Suplindo and PT Pratiwi Putra Sulung in February 2024.

The Senoro-Toili Block has been supplying gas since 2015 to the Donggi-Senoro LNG (DSLNG) plant, as well as to PT Panca Amara Utama’s ammonia plant and the state-owned power company PT PLN (Persero).
