Serica says Kambuna gas onstream June

UK oil, gas firm Serica Energy plc reported on Monday that first gas from Kambuna filed offshore North Sumatra is expected in June 2009.
According to the company, the 58 kilometre offshore and onshore pipeline has been laid and tested. The offshore platform topsides were successfully installed this month and offshore hook-up and commissioning are in progress.
Work continues with the construction of the onshore gas reception facility, it added.
Serica has 50 percent interest Glagah-Kambuna Technical Assistance Contract area.
The total maximum stabilised gas rate from the three wells was 114 mmscfd, together with an estimated 8,000 bpd of condensate.
Meanwhile, the company also reported that in the Kutai PSC (Serica 54.6%), offshore and onshore East Kalimantan, the 280 kilometre onshore 2D seismic survey is being recorded.(alex)
