Servo targets to transport 50 million tons coal by 2015

Hauling road developer, Servo Group has set target to transport 50 million tons of coal in South Sumatra by 2015 once the company has completed the ongoing project to build hauling road along the planned total route of 600 kilometers.
Chairman of Servo Group Widhi Hartono said that the planned 600 kilometers of hauling road with the investment of between Rp 6 trillion and Rp 7 trillion would consist of main road, extension road and feeder of which the latter facility would connect the coal mining area to main road.
?We have completed about 90 percent of the first phase to build 138 kilometers road from Lahat to Banyu Asin which is slated to be operational in April 2012,? he said, adding that the road stretching along the two regencies has 229 kilometers in total length.
He said that the remaining of 91 kilometer was expected to be completed in April 2003. Servo Group would build 2 unit of ports in Muara Lematang with each has capacity of 25 million ton per year with loading capacity of 2x2,000 and 2x2,500 tph.
