Seven firms plan $345 million investment in fuel distribution

Seven companies, which have obtained license to distribute fuel products in the country, plan to invest a total of US$345 million, according to Tubagus Haryono, chairman of the oil and gas downstream authority (BPH Migas).

He was quoted by Bisnis Indonesia daily in its Thursday edition as saying that the seven companies included PT Sigma Rancang Perdana (with $250 million in investment plan), PT Kirdapetra Graha ($75 million), PT Petroleum Limas ($9.8 million), PT Elnusa Harapan ($4 million), PT Pandu Selaras ($4 million), PT Elnusa Petrofin ($1.3 million), and PT Raven Sejahtera ($1.3 million).

Two other companies, which also have obtained the license, including PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta and Malaysia’s Petronas have not unveiled their investment plans, Tubagus said.(*)
