Several companies signs gas and LPG agreements

Several companies signed on Friday agreements to sell and purchase natural gas and LPG.

The signing took place on the sidelines of the Stakeholders Meeting between President Megawati Soekarnoputri and oil and gas corporate leaders at the Bogor palace.

The companies are state electricity company PT PLN, which signed a head of agreement to buy gas from Chinese firm CNOOC; state gas distribution company PT PGN which signed a head of agreement to buy gas from Australian firm Santos; state-owned steel maker Krakatau Steel which signed a head of agreement to buy gas from local firm Exspan Nusantara; and state owned oil and gas company Pertamina signed a contract to buy LPG from Expan Nusantara.
