Several gas contracts of PLN expiring

State owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) (Persero) now urgently need gas for some of its power plants as contracts on gas delivery to the power plants are expiring.

There aren?t yet thus far substitutes for the gas delivered under the expiring contracts, according to PLN's Senior Manager of Primary Energy Planning and Evaluation Chairani Rachmatullah told Petromindo.com.

Besides there are suppliers which have failed to deliver gas to PLN according to the volume stated in their contracts, he said.

Here are the list of Gas Sales Agreements (GSA) which expires in 2014 and 2015, and the list of GSAs which do not perform:
