Several projects to come on stream next year

Upstream authority SK Migas is upbeat about meeting next year?s oil and gas production target as set under the 2013 State Budget of 2.26 million boepd, consisting of 900,000 bpd in oil and 1.3 million boepd in gas in line with the scheduled operation of several projects.

Hadi Prasetyo, Head of PR, Security and Formality Division, said in a statement that the coming on stream of several projects support that optimism, namely the development project of Sumpal field, Ruby field, Peciko 7B field, Sisi Nubi 2B field, Peciko 7C field and South Mahakam field.

The Sumpal field in South Sumatra, operated by ConocoPhillips, will produce 155 mmscfd of gas, Ruby in South Kalimantan (Pearl Oil) 100 mmscfd, Peciko 7B and Sisi Nubi 2B in East Kalimantan (Total) 170 mmscfd, and Peciko 7C (Total) 120 mmscfd.

?For additional production of oil, 1,200 barrels per day will be generated from the EOP pilot program in Kaji Semoga field operated by Medco EP, Minas (Chevron) through chemical injection, Tanjung (Pertamina EP) and Widuri (CNOOC),? Hadi added.
