Physical
Indonesian low-rank coal prices grew week on week, with China's demand for low c.v. material appearing steady on the week. May loading geared material transacted at $37.80-38.25/t FOB, basis 4,200 kc GAR, higher than levels seen last week. Transactions were also settled on a China delivered basis for Panamaxes of both low-rank and sub-bit material. Low c.v. coal traded at $44.80/t CFR, basis 3,800 kc NAR, easing from last week's deal which settled at $45.00/t CFR, same basis, for April arrival.
Paper
Markets for M42, as listed on SGX, in April were bid at $37.65/t against offers at $38.40/t, while for June, the month was bid at $37.25/t, against an offer at $38.50/t. The Q3 contract averaged $37.15/t, down from $37.65/t last week. (ends)
