Indonesian prices remained under downwards pressure, amid slow demand from key markets and strong production levels. Low-rank was bid at around $31.00/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for late August and September loading. Offers were heard for August loading geared vessels at around $31.50-32.00/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR.
Paper
M42 paper, listed on SGX, was bid for August at $31.65 and offered at $32.45, with September bid at $31.15 and offered at $32.20. October was bid at $31.00 and offered at $32.15. Further out, Q4-19 was bid at $31.00 and offered $32.25, with Q1-20 bid at $33.00/t and offered at $35.25. (ends)
