Not much movement was reported for Indonesian prices, which appeared to stay similar to levels reported yesterday. For low-rank, a Panamax was understood to have traded at $33.00/t FOB, basis 4,200 kc NAR, for September loading. Although an offer for different material was also heard at $32.75/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for a September loading Panamax. For geared vessels, offers were reported at $32.00-32.25/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for September loading.
Paper
Prompt paper prices were generally softening in Asian hours. M42 paper, listed on SGX, was bid for August at $31.65 and offered at $32.30, with September bid at $31.50 and offered at $32.00. October was bid at $31.00 and offered at $31.90, with November bid at $30.25 and offered at $31.85. Further out, January was bid at $31.25 and offered $33.75. A spread for September vs October was bid at $0.15 and offered at $0.35. (ends)
