Price information was heard within a wide range for Indonesian cargoes, although much of the difference related to how much lower prices were moving. For low-rank, an offer was reported at $31.15/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for a May loading geared vessel. A deal was understood to have been done at around $30.00/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, from a producer for a geared vessel loading in April, with a bid for similar material loading in May said to be at $28.50/t FOB, same basis. However, another deal was reported at $27.90/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for a geared vessel loading in April.
Paper
Prompt paper prices remained relatively stable in Asian trading, with value for May for M42 little changed. M42, listed on SGX, was bid for April at $28.30 and offered at $30.30, while May was bid at $27.00 and offered at $28.00. Meanwhile, June was bid at $26.00 and offered at $29.75, while a bid was reported at $26.00 for July.
