Low-rank was heard offered at $33.50/t FOB, basis 4,200 kc GAR, for an October loading Panamax from East Kalimantan. A late September or early October loading Supramax, was offered at $33.00/t FOB, basis 4,200 kc GAR. A bid was heard at $32.00/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for an early October loading geared vessel. Lower-c.v. material was also understood to have transacted last Friday at around $26.00/t FOB, basis 3,400 kc NAR, for an October loading geared vessel from South Kalimantan. Another geared vessel of 3,400 kc NAR material for the same loading period but from East Kalimantan was traded last week at $26.50/t FOB, basis 3,400 kc NAR.
Paper
Prompt paper prices were little changed in Asian trading hours. M42 paper, listed on SGX, traded for Q1-20 at $34.90 today, up on the $34.75 where it traded last week. Following the deal, Q1-20 was bid at $34.60 and offered at $35.50. September was bid at $32.20 and offered at $32.50, while October was bid at $32.50 and offered at $32.80. November was bid at $32.45 and offered at $33.25, with December bid at $32.65 and offered at 34.50. (ends)
