Physical
Spot buying interest remains limited for Indonesian cargoes, with no major delays reported in production or loadings. Most of the activity that was seen was for low-rank, although bid-offer spreads continue to be relatively wide. Offers were reported at $23.25/t and $24.50/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for September loading geared vessels - with the lower offer being for earlier in the month and the quality of material was unknown at the time of writing. Bids were limited in number, although one was reported for a September loading geared vessel at $23.00/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR. An offer was also reported for a geared vessel loading in October at $25.25/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR.
Paper
M42, listed on SGX, traded at $23.75/t for September for 15,000 t, which is down on the settlement price on Friday at $24.41. Later in the day, August was bid at $23.80 and offered at $24.20, with September bid at $23.25 and offered at $24.00, while October was bid at $23.85 and offered at $25.50. Further out, Q4-20 was bid at $25.25 and offered at $26.05, while Q1-21 was bid at $26.60 and offered at $29.05.
