An offer for Indonesian low-rank was reported at $39.80/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR for an April loading Panamax. For geared vessels, offers were heard at $39.00-39.50/t FOB, same basis, for April loading geared vessels. Indicative bids for low-rank rank cargoes were heard at around $37.00-38.00/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for April loading geared vessels.
Paper
Paper prices were softening today in Asian trading hours, with Newcastle and M42 prices drifting lower. M42 paper, as listed on SGX, was bid for March at $38.75/ and offered $39.25/t. April was bid at $37.60/t and offered at $38.20/t. A market was reported for Q2 2019 bid at $37.40/t and offered at $$39.00/t. Further out, Q3 2019 was bid at $37.50/t and offered at $39.40/t. A market was also reported for the May June spread, with bid at minus $0.40/t and offer at plus $0.40/t. (ends)
