A deal emerged from over the weekend for a May loading geared vessel done at $30.50/t FOB, basis 3,400 kc NAR. Late last week an offer was reported at $37.90/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for an April loading geared vessel. However, an unconfirmed bid from China was heard at $38.50/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for a May loading geared vessel, although the only offer reported today was heard at $40.00/t FOB, same basis.
Paper
Paper markets were very quiet with London and Australia celebrating Easter. M42 paper, as listed on SGX, was seen bid, however, at $38.40/t for May against an offer at $39.15/t. June was bid at $38.05/t and offered at $38.95/t. (ends)
