Indonesian production is understood to be relatively trouble free currently as the country enters the dry season. For low-rank, offers were heard for August loading Panamaxes $35.50-36.00/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, from miners, and $34.50/t FOB, same basis, for a geared vessel. There was talk of a Panamax trading at $34.80/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, loading in August, although this could not be confirmed. For September loading, a geared vessel was heard bid at $33.75/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, against an offer at $34.75/t FOB, same basis.
Paper
M42 paper, listed on SGX, was bid at $33.90 for August and offered at $34.30, with September bid at $33.90 and offered at $34.20. Further out, Q4-19 was bid at $33.70 and offered at $34.50, and Q1-20 was bid at $33.15. A spread was reported for August v September bid at minus $0.03 and offered at plus $0.10. (ends)
