A bid was reported at $38.50/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for a May loading geared vessel, against an offer at $40.00/t FOB, same basis. A lower c.v. cargo was understood to have transacted late last week at $30.00/t FOB, basis 3,400 kc NAR, for a May loading geared vessel. Offers today for similar were said to be at $31.00/t FOB, basis 3,400 kc NAR.
Paper
M42 paper, as listed on SGX, was bid at $39.00/t for May today and offered at $39.60/t. A market for June was bid at $38.90/t against an offer at $39.60/t while July was bid at $38.20/t against an offer at $39.90/t. August was bid at $37.50/t against an offer at $40.05/t. As a result, Q3 2019 was bid at $37.50/t and offered at $40.00/t. M42 spreads for May/June were bid at minus $0.15/t against an offer at plus $0.65/t, while June/July, July/August and August/September were all bid at plus $0.15/t and offered at plus $0.65/t. (ends)
