Interest in Indonesian material increased, although Chinese buyers were said to be a little tentative on their first day back from holiday. For low-rank, enquiries from India were heard around $32.80-33.00/t FOB, basis 4,200 kc GAR, for November loading geared vessels. A market was still available for a November loading Panamax, which is bid at $34.00/t FOB, basis 4,200 kc GAR, against an offer at $34.50/t FOB, same basis.
Paper
M42, listed on SGX, traded for November at $34.00 for 25,000 t. Earlier in the day October was bid at $32.90 and offered at $33.65, while November was bid at $33.25 and offered at $33.75. Further out, Q1-20 was bid at $34.00 and offered at $35.00.
