Physical

Offers of Panamaxes of Indonesian low-rank material were heard at $35.70-36.00/t FOB, basis 4,200 kc GAR, for loading in December. Supramaxes were heard offered in the range of $34.00-35.00/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for December loading cargos, while bids were heard at $33.50-34.45/t FOB, same basis.

 

Paper

It was a busy session for M42 with 140,000 t transacting via SGX, a single day record since its launch in April 2018. M42 traded for calendar 2020 at $34.35 for 5,000 t a month over the year. Deals were also done for January and February at $34.20 for 40,000 t each, a new volume record for single trade.
