Shell, AKR lowest bidders for PLN fuel supply

State electricity firm PLN said on Monday Royal Dutch/Shell and IDX-listed firm AKR Corporindo are lowest bidders to supply 1 million kiloliters (kls) of high speed diesel (HSD) to the company?s power plants.

Acting Director Fahmi Mochtar said Shell is lowest bidder to supply 650,000 kls of HSD to Grati power plant in East Java and 250,000 kls to Belawan power plant in North Sumatra with price of MOPS plus 1.95 percent premium.

Meanwhile, AKR is lowest bidder for 50,000 kls supply to Pontianak with MPOS plus 7.45 percent and 50,000 kls to Samarinda with MOPS plus 8.30 percent.

Pertamina through its subsidiary Patra Niaga is offering price of MOPS plus 9.5 percent, he said.

Fahmi said the bidding committee is still evaluating the proposals and winners announcement will be made shortly. (godang)
