Shell cuts fuel prices

PT Shell Indonesia, an Indonesian unit of Anglo-Dutch energy firm Royal Dutch/ Shell Plc, has cut the prices of its fuels in line with the downward trend of international crude prices and the move by state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina to cut its prices.
Effective today (Thursday), Shell's gas stations sells Shell Super 92 at Rp 5,900 per liter (1US$ = Rp 10,125, up from 6,200 per liter previously, Shell Super Extra 95 at Rp 6,900 per liter, up from 7,000 per liter and Shell Diesel is maintained at 7,000 per liter, Fathia Syarif, the company?s media communication manager, said.
Pertamina slashed the prices of its high-octane gasoline, Pertamax, Pertamax Plus and Bio-Pertamax, starting Wednesday. (*)
